Creative Connections

Name three objects and have your child define how they’re similar. The trick here is that there is no one right answer.

I recommend starting with these three: a feather, a piece of paper, and a rock.

Again, the right answers are the ones that make some kind of sense. Making creative connections is the goal. It builds your child’s critical-thinking skills while expanding their ability to go deeper.

You could also challenge your kid to find more than one connection.

I’d love to hear what your kids come up with. Leave a comment with the creative connections they made.
